  
At Care Direct affordable "Professional Quality Care & Support" should be available to everyone.
You can use our service through the following funding methods.
- Private Arrangement: You can make your own support arrangements with your own personalised care planning arrangements.
- Direct Payments: Through your local Social Work office, hospital ward, Community Mental Health Team or Direct Payment Team. You can ask for the services of Care Direct following a social services assessment.
- The Independent Living Fund.
State Benefits:
- Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or Attendance Allowance (AA).
Our service is provided by the hour only mainly, as we believe you cannot recieve quality care & support through pop-ins. The minimum level of support is two hours per week (excluding one off hospital appoinments). You can have as many hours as you wish above two hours.
Direct Payment Rates: Private Rates:
Monday - Friday £13.50 per hour. Monday - Friday £16.50 per hour
Saturday £16.50 per hour. Saturday £20.00 per hour
Sunday £18.00 per hour. Sunday £25.00 per hour
Between the hours of 7.00am to 09.00pm
A 60p per mile allowance is charged for using a support worker's own vehicle as transport.
Support workers can assist on public transport or a taxi.
The Hospital Appointment Service
Salford Area: £24.99. A minimum 2 hour booking.
Collection & Return Home.
Outside Salford Area: £16.50 per hour collection & return. Minimum 2 hour booking.
